Patent Counsel – Large Corporation – Princeton, N.J.

Technicolor Technicoloris seeking two Patent Attorneys to join our team. These roles focus on:

  • Reviewing R&D projects, invention disclosures and prior art to propose actions for protecting the Group's intellectual property.
  • Preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications, including appeals to obtain valuable patents for licensing needs.
  • Providing patent support to the licensing organization through marking process and patent talks and to the business units.

We typically work on the following technologies therefore you will need some experience with:

  • audio and video technology including compression/codecs;
  • streaming media;
  • user interfaces;
  • mobile devices; and
  • embedded software

You must have demonstrated patent expertise in filing and prosecution and/or licensing support and generally at least 4 years of patent counsel professional experience.

US Patent Attorney strongly preferred.
