[Four-Minute ANONYMOUS SurveyMonkey Survey] I understand that Patently-O has perhaps hosted too many surveys over the past few days. However, this survey is the most important one because it impacts my bottom line. I use the results to prove to advertisers that Patently-O readers are plentiful, smart, and well-connected. I also use the survey to improve the website. [Please Complete the Survey]
Thank you!

Superb ! Your blog is incredible. I am delighted with it. Thanks for sharing with me.
Leahy beating the drum for more, um, donations (yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket).
Actually, “troll” would be as follows: wait for someone else to take the survey, and then sue the crap out of them.
Because he 8 nine?
Ha ha
(why was 6 afraid of 7)
On a more serious note, Dennis, thanks for letting us express our feelings.
Leahy comes out against Business Methods in response to Bilski:

Survey completed. Keep up the great work, Dennis.
“Probably had to check both “Licensing” and “Litigation”.”
Funny – that would be just like everybody else who is serious about their IP and want to license it (big companies, little companies, universities, practicing entities, non-practicing entities…)
Where was the box for “Patent Troll”?
Probably had to check both “Licensing” and “Litigation”.
Troll: That would be the “inventor” box, but click it in a snarky way.
Where was the box for “Patent Troll”?
“sabbatical“, huh.
So how much was bail?
I am back from my “sabbatical,” but now I am going on summer vacation.
It was nice to see, for the first time, a box to check for “inventor.”
FWIW, I have read at least three cases on PatentlyO in the last two years that were directly relevant to some litigation matters pending at that time and I have no doubt that I would not have caught these cases if not for PatentlyO. For that reason, I check the site at least twice daily.
Dennis,
Because I don’t want to see your bottom line and your family starve, I completed the survey (and it didn’t take the full four minutes).
