The Intellectual Property Practice Group of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP seeks to hire a computer science associate with 2-4 years of experience to reside in the Washington, DC office.
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and experience in drafting and prosecuting software related patent applications and in evaluating patent infringement and validity. Responsibilities would include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, working with clients to identify and evaluate potentially patentable inventions, support IPRs, litigation and licensing matters, and handle intellectual property due diligence. Candidates should also have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, and preferably 2-3 years of related industry experience and/or significant academic coursework.
