We are seeking a Patent Agent (Independent Contractor). We will consider candidates for both part-time and full-time positions. We also welcome on-ramp candidates who want to return to the workforce.
The position requires solid familiarity with cell biology, immune biology, cancer vaccines, and molecular biology, and we prefer an advanced scientific degree in biology, chemistry, or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a registered patent agent prosecuting patent applications in the life sciences space. Strong candidates will have demonstrated scientific expertise and persuasive writing skills and a deep knowledge of best practices in patent prosecution. Candidates must be admitted to practice before the USPTO and capable of working independently.
