Harrity is seeking a AI Specialist - Patent Law with hands-on experience in the patent field and a strong interest in AI, data, and software tools. This role is ideal for a former patent attorney, agent, examiner, or analyst who is interested in the technical aspect of patent law without the nuances of legal work.
You will work on AI prompts, testing, basic scripting, data analysis, and improving our analytics and drafting tools that support drafting applications & managing prosecution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and refine prompts for generative AI tools.
- Build and support basic analytics scripts, dashboards, and data workflows.
- Validate AI outputs from a patent professional perspective.
- Provide onboarding, tool support, and troubleshooting for internal and external users.
- Participate in feedback collection and iterative improvements across our AI and analytics platforms.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in the patent field (attorney/agent, USPTO examiner, or patent analyst).
- Understanding of AI prompting concepts.
- Interest or experience in Python, data analysis, or software tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.
