We seek an attorney to join our practice who shares our commitment to excellence.

The position will involve patent preparation and prosecution (in a wide variety of technical disciplines, including the chemical arts), trademark preparation and prosecution, intellectual property opinions and agreements, and intellectual property litigation.

Although basic skills like utility patent claim drafting and Office action analysis are critical, we strive to hire and develop well-rounded attorneys who are skilled legal advisers. We believe that regular, direct client contact is important to developing and honing these skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Patent drafting and prosecution experience
  • Eligibility for USPTO Registration
  • PA attorney license or sitting for July 2014 PA Bar
  • Outstanding analysis and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly absorb and understand technical subject matter

Preferred Qualifications

  • USPTO Registration
  • Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree
  • Familiarity with graphics software, including Acrobat, PowerPoint, Visio, and CAD viewing programs

Our attorneys choose their own work/life balance. Our minimum billing expectations are modest. Base salaries are based on expected billings and bonuses are paid on a percentage basis for all excess billings. We also offer benefits including retirement, health insurance and disability.
