Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor for our Minneapolis office’s patent department, to assist with patent prosecution and application preparation. Dorsey offers a collegial and dynamic environment, competitive salary, and excellent benefits.
Experience in patent prosecution and application preparation is required. We strongly prefer candidates with a B.S. or advanced degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering. We also will consider candidates with a B.S. or advanced degree in Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Science, or Medicinal Chemistry with relevant work experience in organic or polymer chemistry. Please note that we are not seeking candidates with a biotech-related background. Strong academic credentials are required.
