Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking Mechanical Engineering Patent Agents or Engineers to work as technical specialists in Milwaukee, Waukesha, or Madison, WI. ***2+ years of patent prosecution experience are required.*** Relocation assistance may be available.
Our Patent Agents and Engineers prepare patentability searches, patent applications for filing with the USPTO, draft Office Action responses, and partner with firm colleagues and clients regarding an array of new and exciting technologies.
Eligible candidates will preferably have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but Industrial Engineering or Physics backgrounds may be considered. Admission to the Patent Bar is preferred, but not required.
The candidate must excel in a team environment and be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent business judgment, outstanding written communication skills, and the flexibility to thrive (and have fun!) in a fast-paced professional environment.
