Successful candidates will form a small U.S. team within our firm in Munich to draft, prepare and prosecute our clients’ U.S. patent applications and to coordinate their world-wide patent prosecution activities.
Candidates should have strong technical skills in electrical engineering and/or physics. Experience in drafting and/or prosecuting patent applications for telecommunications-related and/or semiconductor-related inventions would be a plus.
Candidates must have passed the USPTO patent bar. U.S. citizenship is required, as candidates will need to be able to obtain/keep their registration to practice before the USPTO while living in Germany. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elect. Eng., Computer Eng. or Physics is preferred. Actual engineering experience is a plus. German language skills are not required.
