Viering, Jentschura & Partner, a growing, Germany-based patent firm with foreign offices in Singapore and Taiwan, is seeking a US Patent Attorney for its Dresden, Germany office. Our US team drafts and prosecutes a wide variety of patent applications in the United States and collaborates with patent attorneys in other jurisdictions for multi-national companies.
Responsibilities are primarily prosecution-based and include drafting new patent applications, responding to office actions, and drafting Patent Board appeals. Sample representative technical areas include telecommunications, semiconductors, memory and data storage, autonomous vehicles, and thin film applications.
Willingness to move to Dresden, Germany is required. Due to USPTO regulations for patent attorneys practicing abroad, US citizenship is also required. A willingness to learn German is strongly preferred.
