Klemchuk LLP is looking for an associate (preferably at least 2 years of experience) that is licensed to practice before the USPTO and is interested in working on a tight-knit team where everyone enjoys working together in a collaborative fashion, and each individual gets to leverage his/her strengths for the benefit of the team. Not only will this position provide excellent legal experience, the selected associate will be offered coaching and mentoring to help develop into the attorney that he/she desires to be.
This position offers the opportunity to not only prepare and prosecute patent applications but also engage in patent counseling in a hands-on matter with extensive direct client and USPTO contact. Klemchuk LLP has a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, and the ideal candidate seeks opportunities to engage with clients working in many different technology areas. This position also may involve some patent litigation and PTAB support, including infringement, invalidity, and claim construction analysis.
