Stevens & Showalter, LLP is a growing patent law boutique seeking a patent attorney with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
The firm is located in a South Dayton, Ohio suburb (Centerville/Washington Township) within a short drive of Northern Cincinnati suburbs for those having a desire to live in Northern Cincinnati.
Responsibilities will include patent application preparation and prosecution, conducting prior art searches, drafting clearance/invalidity opinions, client counseling, and other patent related projects. The firm has no fixed billing requirements. Salary is competitive with patent firms in the Midwest and, for the right person, may exceed salaries of large Midwestern firms. Partnership opportunities are available based on ability to work independently without review, a demonstration of entrepreneurial skills and initiative and an ability to fit in well with the other firm attorneys and staff.
