What is clearly apparent is that a multitude of parties (including academia) contributed to the intellectual property space surrounding the HUMIRA product. Abbvie appears to have aggregated this IP, because assuming the patents claim HUMIRA – so a license seems necessary. To insinuate that Abbvie did something nefarious because of the number of patents shows bias.
Patently-O does itself a disservices linking to garbage such as I-MAK.
