ScienBiziP, PC has an immediate need for one or two junior to mid-level (at least 3-6 years’ experience) Patent Prosecution professionals in our Downtown LA office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in:
- Preparing and prosecuting US patent applications in telecommunications (LTE, CDMA, GSM,, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
- Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Providing technical support for patent IPR, PGR, and litigation proceedings
- Working with, and training, Chinese and Taiwanese patent engineers and attorneys
- Potential travel to China, Taiwan, and Japan
Background Required
- Strong scientific/technical background in: electrical or computer engineering, and especially mobile standards essential technology and telecommunications (LTE, CDMA, GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Advanced Degrees Preferred (MS, PhD.)
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential.
- USPTO registration required and at least one state bar is preferred.
- Ability to read and speak Mandarin or Japanese is a plus, but not required.
