June 7, 2004: The USPTO has announced that the "announcement of the time for beginning administration of the computerized registration examination should be forthcoming shortly." Accordingly, new rules for the computerized examination will be "published in the Federal Register as soon as they are finalized, and delivery of the examination will begin thirty days thereafter."
