Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is seeking an Experienced mid-level Associate to join its growing intellectual property group in its Boston office. The candidate will work directly with attorneys and patent agents on IP matters for leading pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology start-ups. Primary responsibilities include patent prosecution and opinion work. The position requires a PhD or equivalent in molecular cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or relevant biological science. The candidate must have strong communication, writing, analytical and organizational skills, and will receive mentoring and training in the practice of intellectual property law.
All candidates must have at least 3 years of patent prosecution experience.
Massachusetts Bar admission and USPTO admission preferred.
