We are currently seeking a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to work out of our Rochester, New York office. Primary responsibilities for this position will include preparing and prosecuting patent applications across a variety of technology areas, with a focus on computer-implemented methods in insurance and e-commerce, medical devices, autonomous vehicles, and heavy machinery. Responsibilities may also include managing foreign prosecution and rendering opinions to clients. The position requires extensive interaction with in-house attorneys, inventors, and firm attorneys.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a USPTO registration number and three or more years of patent preparation and prosecution experience, preferably in one or more of the technology areas listed above. A degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is greatly preferred.
