Leydig, Voit & Mayer is seeking a U.S. patent attorney with 1–4 years of experience to be an associate in its Frankfurt, Germany office.
Successful candidates will be authorized to practice in at least one state of the United States and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of academic achievement, excellent interpersonal skills, and a mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics degree. German language proficiency is a plus, but not required, as the working language of the office is English.

Typical work activities include: U.S. patent prosecution, analysis and preparation of patent opinions, drafting agreements related to technology licensing and associated transactions; and support of litigation, administrative reviews, petitions, and appeals. Preferred candidates will have experience in at least some of these areas.
