Fellows and Associates (on behalf of a client) is seeking a Biotechnology Patent Attorney to work in London, UK.

We are working with a leading British and international intellectual property specialist legal firm who wish to grow their UK team with a hire from the USA.
The firm are rapidly growing their biotechnology practice which is already well-established, high profile and successful. Due to a significant uptick in work, this will be an excellent time to join them as opportunities for career advancement are likely due to both demographic and commercial factors. There is a rich diet of work, a few examples include: immunology, oncolytic viruses, gene technologies, neurodegenerative disease diagnostics, nucleic acid or peptide detection-based diagnostics, next generation sequencing, RNAi and CRISPR.
Appropriate candidates will have had a few years’ experience working as a Patent Attorney so will be very comfortable with drafting and prosecution. Beyond that, a desire to aid in the development of the practice by fostering new client relationships and building on existing ones will be beneficial. You will have a relevant scientific undergraduate and/or postgraduate academic background (i.e. biology, biochemistry and related areas).
The firm will arrange for a UK employment visa if you are offered the post and aid in the relocation process.
