Applicants preferably have at least five years of patent prosecution experience and a bachelors degree in electrical or chemical engineering. Depending on the level of experience and amount of portable work, immediate partnership opportunities are available. Relocation with office hours in Knoxville are preferred though flexible/hybrid work arrangements will be considered.
This is an opportunity for an attorney with a portable book of business to relocate to highly desirable Knoxville, TN while potentially being compensated at a higher percentage of their billings. The attorney would be joining a well-established intellectual property firm with a team atmosphere and experienced administrative support. Attorneys at the firm can expect to be compensated between about 70-80% of their client billings while enjoying a healthy work/life balance. The greater the annual billings, the higher the percentage of take home pay that can be expected. Origination/management credit is also available for billings brought into the firm but billed by another attorney within the firm.
