The George Washington University Law School is seeking an Associate Dean for Intellectual Property.  The Associate Dean for IP will work with the Dean of the Law School and the Directors of the Intellectual Property Law Program to manage one of the nations’ leading intellectual property law programs, to organize events, conferences and meetings related to the program, and to pursue private and private sources of funding.

Responsibilities will include coordinating IP alumni and development outreach, including editing an IP alumni newsletter, organizing IP Advisory Board meetings, and administering an IP Benefactor program; serving as the principal contact for visiting scholars, prospective students, and other institutions; maintaining and externship program; developing and administering special educational and research programs in intellectual property law, including existing LL.M and summer programs in Munich, Germany; and coordinating student competitions and awards in the field of intellectual property.  The Associate Dean will have an opportunity to teach one course per year if desired.
