Technical Specialist sought to join Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP's growing intellectual property group in its Boston office. The candidate will work directly with attorneys and patent agents on IP matters for leading high-tech companies and start-ups. Primary responsibilities include patent prosecution and opinion work. The position requires an associate degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. The candidate must have strong communication, writing, analytical and organizational skills, and will receive mentoring and training in the practice of intellectual property law, as well as the opportunity to attend law school.
- 1 to 2 years of patent prosecution experience is preferred but not necessary.
- USPTO admission a plus.
