seeks seeks a highly qualified science advisor with 2+ years experience to join our Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies (IPTS) group. Candidate must have experience drafting patent applications and office action responses, conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, reviewing patent and scientific papers to assist patent attorneys in prosecution, counseling and litigation, and performing due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers.
Candidates applying for this position should have strong academic credentials and an advanced degree (preferably a Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field, law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Admission to the Patent Bar is strongly preferred.
