Miles & Stockbridge P.C. 
is seeking a registered patent attorney or agent with a background in chemistry or biotechnology to work in our firm’s Frederick, MD or Washington, DC office drafting and prosecuting patent applications and providing IP counseling for some of the leading multinational chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, privately held companies, start-ups, and universities.
The successful candidate should advantageously possess at least a master’s degree in a relevant discipline and have from 2 to 10+ years of patent prosecution experience in a fast paced environment. Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent academic credentials are required. References and writing samples are required.
