Patent Agent – Law Firm – Des Moines, Iowa

McKee, Voorhees & Sease PLC, seeks a full-time patent agent, technical advisor or an associate patent attorney to join its growing Biotechnology practice group within our firm located in Des Moines, IA. Candidates must have either a M.S. or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, or Botany or plant related biotechnology and be registered to practice before the  U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (or eligible for registration). Candidates will be considered who demonstrate a strong knowledge and experience of patent prosecution in the biotech fields. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Candidates having 1-3 years of experience in patent prosecution in these fields are preferred.
