DINSMORE & SHOHL LLP, a prominent national law firm with an IP Department of over 90 attorneys among its 650 attorneys nationwide, is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate in the Groton, CT office. This position requires an attorney with a minimum of two years of experience and a molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related degree. Qualified candidates should have patent prosecution experience, ideally licensed to practice before the USPTO, and can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and a diverse range of work, including analysis and opinion work, patent preparation and prosecution. Industry or postdoctoral experience is preferred. Admission to a state bar is required. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
