US Patent Attorney (E.E., Physics, Computer Science) – Law Firm – Munich Germany

2SPL Patent Attorneys is a Munich, Germany based law firm founded an managed by a collegial group of patent attorneys.  The firm is seeking a U.S. patent attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics and must be willing to relocate to Munich.

We expect at least 5 years experience in drafting and/or prosecuting patent applications related to electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics. Successful candidates will lead a small U.S. team within the firm to draft, prepare and prosecute our clients’ U.S. patent applications and to coordinate their world-wide patent prosecution activities.

We would also provide support in becoming a European and/or German Patent attorney.

2SPL offers a salaried position with indefinite term in Munich, Germany. Candidate Qualifications

Must have passed the USPTO patent bar. U.S. citizenship is required, as candidates will need to be able to obtain/keep their registration to practice before the USPTO while living abroad. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elect. Eng., Computer Eng. or Physics is preferred. Actual engineering experience is a plus. German language skills are not required.
