Metalenz, a small corporation, is seeking an IP Counsel to work in Boston, MA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sr. management team to implement and execute a patent strategy for a new optical technology
- Extract and evaluate patent ideas from a team of researchers
- Identify “greenfield” areas to expand our patent portfolio
- Review and draft licensing agreements
- Collaborate with outside counsel to manage and expand Metalenz patent portfolio
- Work with university licensing offices, as needed
- Conduct Freedom to Operate and enforcement searches
