Responsibilities:
• Preparation and filing of patent applications in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
• Prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications
• Patentability searches and opinions
• Counseling of clients on matters of patentability
• Infringement and invalidity opinions
• Due diligence investigations and support
Qualifications:
• 5 or more years practicing as a patent attorney
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in computer science/software/hardware
• Preparation and prosecution of patent applications involving, communications, networking, telecommunications systems, and computer systems
• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar preferred
• Good legal and computer research skills
