A candidate must have five to eight years of experience in patent prosecution, be admitted to the Patent Bar, and possess an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering with excellent academic qualifications. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are needed. The candidate should have strong project, and client management skills and a proven track record of success in the patent field. No book of business is required.
The candidate selected for this position will provide a range of intellectual property and technology legal services including preparing, drafting, and prosecuting patent and trademark applications; counseling on intellectual property matters including patent and trademark clearance and infringement opinions; counseling on contract and technology transfer matters; and reviewing and negotiating patent and trademark licenses.
