Solo practitioner seeking help with large case load of patent applications and office actions. Majority of patents cover disk drive technology, including general electrical and computer engineering, communication theory, control theory, and coding theory. The position requires 2-5 years patent drafting and prosecution experience as well as a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles. Compensation is based on each task completed (application drafting, response drafting, etc.) but the compensation is very high. There is more than enough work to keep a qualified candidate busy full time. In fact, there is enough work to keep a qualified candidate busy 80 hours per week. The compensation could easily exceed $300k depending on motivation to work and technical competence.
