Plumsea Law Group, LLC 
offered a unique paid internship opportunity for new JDs and patent agents in the fall of 2013. The first class of interns successfully completed the program and were offered permanent positions. All three are currently employed as patent attorneys with Plumsea.
Due to the success of the first internship program, Plumsea will be offering a new internship opportunity in the winter of 2015. The winter 2015 program will start on February 17, 2015, and will be a six-month paid internship limited to a maximum of two interns who are interested in learning how to write high quality patent applications and prosecute patents before the US Patent & Trademark Office. Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or physics backgrounds are required. This is an intensive training program and each intern will be required to draft a number of new patent applications during the program. The interns may be offered positions with the firm after the internship.
The winter 2015 program is aimed at hiring for our Portland, Oregon office with a minimum one year of training in the Bethesda, Maryland office. The internship will count toward the training year.
