The ideal candidate has two or more years of experience as an attorney or agent drafting and globally prosecuting patent applications in chemical and materials science. The firm will offer training for candidates with less than two years’ experience and candidates with all experience levels are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. or Master’s in organic chemistry or polymers is preferred. Knowledge of polymer chemistry and polymer processing, particularly polymer synthesis, composites, and coatings, would be advantageous. U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration as an attorney or agent is required.

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property & Technology litigation practice. Remote or hybrid work location is an option. Trial experience is not required but would be valued. Candidates must have strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
