Otterstedt, Ellenbogen & Kammer, LLP is seeking a highly qualified and motivated patent agent or attorney for a full-time position in our Stamford, CT or Huntington, NY office. Telecommuting options may be available for candidates with demonstrated proficiency.
Qualified candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to quickly grasp a variety of complex technical concepts and clearly convey such concepts in writing. Accordingly, we look for candidates with strong written and verbal communication skills.
The position requires drafting and prosecuting high-quality patent applications in the electrical, semiconductor, and software arts. A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or in another technical field coupled with relevant experience, is required.
