Schwabe has an opening in either our Portland, OR or Seattle, WA office for a full time associate in the Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science or electrical engineering background, preferably 2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution and/or 5+ years of software industry experience. Patent counseling, licensing and/or trademark experience is beneficial but not required. Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar admission preferred, but not required. Candidate must be USPTO registered.
