The Intellectual Property group of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Patent Agent (preferably) or Patent Associate Attorney with more than two years’ experience in patent preparation and prosecution for its Seattle office. The position will require development of a broad IP practice and, while the position will focus on preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the software and electrical arts, it will also include supporting clients on a wide variety of IP issues. Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, and related areas is desirable.
Strong academic credentials, writing skills and references required. We can only consider applicants with an educational degree in CS, CE and/or EE programs, or equivalent industry or law firm experience (e.g., experience as a software developer); and, who are actively admitted to practice before the USPTO. JD also required for Associate Attorney applicants.
