… which is quite different from how I and many others read it as “beginning at 12 Midnight [tonight] and ending [in 54 hours] at 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 16”.

Thanks Les – I jumped to an errant conclusion when I noted the timing of the good professor’s post and linked the beginning of the down tiime to the post date instead of Saturday.
