Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice PLLC is seeking a highly qualified mechanical patent attorney to join our intellectual property practice as an associate in our Greensboro office. Also seeking a highly qualified mechanical patent attorney, to join our intellectual property practice as an associate in our Winston-Salem office. An educational and/or industry background in textile technology is preferred.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant patent experience and be able to demonstrate experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, reexaminations, freedom to operate analyses, invalidity and non-infringement opinions, and general patent counseling. Candidate should be admitted to practice law before the USPTO and admitted in or capable of becoming eligible for the North Carolina bar. EOE.
