As a Senior Patent Engineer for Patent Law Works LLP, you will oversee the full life cycle development of patents. The Senior Patent Engineer writes patent applications and advocates for the patentability of patent applications pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO").

Once filed, the application is referred to as a pending patent application. Examiners at the USPTO review the pending application and compare the claims against known technology described in documents called "prior art."
